Children and the pandemic

 Covid-19 has affected the whole world at large. Some hit harder than others but dealing with the fallback all the same. FOADAC pays particular attention to children in need of shelter, clothing , food, healthcare and school supplies. 

During the past year up until now things have been exceptionally difficult. Attending to their regular needs in addition to covid has been a daunting task. The kids we look after have been fortunate and not many have been sick with covid, though their resources have dwindled due to the pandemic. 

As we continue to fight this virus, let us not forget the children especially those with special needs.

Moving on to 2021, The pandemic saga continues

 If you are reading this, that means you made it through 2020. Yes its two months into the new year and we are still in the thick and thin of the pandemic, at least in the USA. Other nations have done quite well and their numbers are down, as well as increase vaccine rates. 

All we can do is try our best to comprehend and practice all the safe methods available to us.

If you suffered a loss in the last year or recently due to this pandemic , we send out our condolences and our prayers to you and families.

We continue to do the best we can here at FOADAC. Our focus is children and their needs , but we have concern for all. Last month we were able to do some outreach work and also make a small donation of mosquito nets, gloves , masks , bed sheets and sanitizers to a small maternity unit in one of the small towns we work in. 

Every child deserves a good start upon entry into this world irrespective of weather they are wanted or not. So our support to this location gives them a head start.
