Just a Reflection !
Yes Christmas has come and gone , but we can always reflect in its meaning and how well we did just last week. And sure we can always cherish the meaning of peace and try to have more of it in our lives this new year.
That wonderful word is peace.
In speaking about the Savior, the prophet Isaiah reported, “A child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be . . . Prince of Peace” (Isa. 9:6). Also, recall what the angels said the night Jesus was born: “There appeared . . . a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased’” (Luke 2:13–14).
Christmas can undoubtedly be one of the most joyous and revitalizing seasons of the year for us as believers. However, it can also be hectic and nerve-wracking—so much so that we lose our sense of security and tranquility, which is the very thing Jesus came to bring us.
So today I would like to ask you: In the hustle and bustle of Christmas, where do you go to find silence and stillness? Do you rejoice and rest in all that the Lord has given you? Or is this time of year characterized by impatience, agitation, conflict, and pain?

Happy New Year !!!
My friends and well wishers,
we have spent a great year together and I thank you . Thank for supporting the orphans that I work with by simply stopping by this page. Others made cash and or in-kind donations, some gave valuable information and word of mouth support , for all and everything I thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you the best of this year.
As we begin another year , I hope and pray that you will continue to stop by and check on the kids and wish us well in one small way or the other.
Good luck and all the best that this year holds.

Happy Holidays and a wonderful year ahead
Dear Friends and well wishers , thank you for spending this past year with me, whether you stopped by my blog once or several times, I thank you and wish you the best of all that you wish yourself.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're Doing Something.
So that's my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody's ever made before. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry that it isn't good enough, or it isn't perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you're scared of doing, Do it.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever.
Have a great 2013!

This is all I can say
The world has not ended as so many anticipated. We still have to go about our business. Lets do our best to be a little nicer, smile a little longer, hug a little tighter and be thankful for our blessings in life.

Oh what an EVIL world we live in !
Its been three days and I am now just finding the courage to write. For its hard to truely express how sad it feels when you wake up to news such as this
Like you, I was shocked and incredibly saddened by the events in Newtown, Connecticut, on Friday. I was struggling with how and what to say
It is with a very heavy heart that I write this mail. I read and saw on TV with utter shock and disbelief about killing of elementary school children by a gunman in Connecticut. My prayers go for the relatives of the dead; I am sure nothing can comfort a parent who loses a child in such a horrible manner. Even for the children who survived some may live in terror for the rest of their lives; how painful this must be for everybody in that town and for all of us here in the US.
Like Tyler Perry said: what do you do when prayer is just not enough ? You pray and pray again. That is all I can do or these victims and the people in Newton, and God in his infinite mercy will prevail.
It might seem like it now, but he never gives us any burden that is more than us to bear, though as humans its hard to believe in his love and protection at a time like this.
You are all in my prayers.
